January 15, 2014 - Decanted 30 min. Aroma of fruit and cedar. Upon pour, red, brown orange at rim and dusty red in glass. A bit of strawberry and dark cherry on palate. Little oak present at this time. Silky but present tannins. Good acidity with nice finish. Drinking well right now.

February 20, 2011 - Benvenuto Brunello 2006 premiƩre (30 TN inside!!) (Montalcino (Si)): Very rich and more spicy at nose. Maybe too much wood at taste, covering other hints. Green tannins. WS: 89 [2010]
