January 27, 2016 - The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like oak and black currant (cassis). The body is medium/full. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.

August 28, 2013 - Well structured, with the cherry fruit and oak combining right up front instead of a serial presentation. Some spice and earthiness. Good, restrained mouth feel: smooth, but nowhere near plush. Very good food wine. B+

11/20/2014. Cherry and a bit of raspberry fruit. Light but noticeable oak. Good acidity and pretty red color. Restrained mouth feel. A little more spiciness and, for me, this would have been a 95รท.

January 26, 2013 - Black tea, some plum, and mineral/earthiness are present in the nose and on the palate. Mild spice notes. Still has some edge after being decanted for about 30 minutes. It has a medium finish. A pleasant pinot, but still young.

November 29, 2012 - As always, a stellar wine from Arista. Any of the compromises inherent in a single-vineyard wine are wiped clean away with this baby. Red fruit, baking spices, and some wood on the nose and palate, and a silken smooth finish.

June 18, 2012 - Classic Russian river Pinot. Nice fruit. Excellent.
