April 13, 2013 - Better showing than the last bottle. Very dense fruit with some syrupy tones and a decent finish. Very fruit forward and anything but classic. Typical '03.
January 19, 2013 - Very fruit forward with a nose of red fruit, damp earth, and roasted coffee. The first glass was velvety with fruit and spice and a pretty long finish. However the taste soon faded into nothing but overripe fruit with less complexity than at the start. From reading some of the other reviews, either the bottle was not stored properly or the heat of the vintage is coming through. Either way, this was a good if simple PN but will see how the second bottle goes and then assign a rating...88 informal for now.

June 19, 2010 - This was an excellent bottle of wine. It had a nice floral, delicate nose with some fresh cherry and strawberry. The taste had a nice balance of acidity and tannic balance, with rich red fruits and a little bit of violet. The finish was borderline milk chocolaty, which leads me to believe this will turn pretty chocolaty over the next few years. There's no reason to wait on drinking this since it's in a good place now; however, it will improve.
August 30, 2009 - This wine is a perfect blend of Burgundy and american pinot It has the front end of America, but the soil content on the back of burgundy. Decent finish, very open right out of the bottle. This vintage is a perfect intro to burundy for an american pinot drinker.
August 15, 2008 - Astounding. The best pinot noir I have ever had. It's perfect right now.
