September 10, 2017 - Pulled this for my wife's birthday dinner as this is one of her favorite producers. Fantastic fruit of raspberry and cassis. Tannins still present but mostly integrated; the acidity, however is vibrant and wonderful, holding it all together. Whoa. thedrunkencyclist.com

January 29, 2017 - I had just returned from Sacramento where I was on a panel with the owner/winemaker of Tallulah, Mike Drash, so this was a natural choice once I got back to my cellar. Exceedingly dark with wafts of cassis and black licorice, initially. On the palate, this still has near monstrous fruit—blackberry and that cassis. Mike took over the winery while this vintage was in barrel so while he did not “make” the wine from start to finish, it still shows his deft hand as a very talented winemaker. July 10, 2014 - fruit fell apart quickly and clearly past its prime. Could tell it was big, juicy and ripe back in its prime drinking window but not anymore. Left with still rough tannins that remind me syrah grown in Italy

April 20, 2014 - Cork perfect; dark, fruit, spice, pepper, acid, tannin;
still, imo, young, but quite tasty with grilled lamb.
Decant for sediment.
Looking at other comments, I wonder what this was like a couple years ago, but no matter, I'm in no hurry.
