September 19, 2019 - Decanted for 30 min, deep ruby, dark fruit & a touch of bacon, med/firm tannins, mod/long finish; very good but young, needs time

Better on day 2 (raised a point); definitely hold for at least a couple of years

July 12, 2019 - at first a reductively scent (rubber like)
Two hours after the opening, the Aroma was opened.
    Prune, Black and Blueberry
    Violet, even Jasmine!(maybe from Viognier)
Forest floor and a little Black Truffle
    Spices, Licorice, Tobacco
    Walnuts, Medium Toast Oak
Unlike other people's notes, the scent of oak did not crush the wine.

    in Palate
    Full body, Dry
dense mineral power from granite terroir
    fresh and elegant acidity
    still solid tannin
    Not too heavy wine

I kept this wine at a little high of 18 degrees, so maybe it was good to drink now.

June 9, 2019 - Roasty new wood showing through. And a bit hollow on the mid. But just opened.

May 30, 2019 - During a Loire/Rhone blind tasting dinner with pirates. I had this a few years ago and the bottle left me confused. Today I had it blind again and I know where the confusion comes from. This wine drinks like a heavy, ripe, concentrated, oaky Southern Rhone or Priorat bruiser. Looks like they overdid it in this vintage, a pity.

March 28, 2019 - Disappointing. Not very varietally correct. Bummer!
