February 6, 2015 - Drank over two days, good crisp tart fruit, nice body and medium acid on finish for food; second day paired with Dover Sole Meuniere and lemon characteristics of wine melded beautifully with the buttery lemon of the fish.

April 5, 2013 - Blind at Auggie's: Light yellow; Light peach, pear, slight tropical note, meyer lemon; fresia flowers, white flowers, stones, rocky chalky; slight cinnamon aspect; dry, medium acidity, mde. alc.; Guessed 2010 Chablis, but body needs to be a bit heavier and acid a little higher in my opinion.

August 16, 2012 - DW and I had this at a restaurant with dinners consisting of Hawaiian white fish. Consumed the bottle over about 90 minutes.

On opening this was very powerful and enjoyable. Strong fruit noses. Crisp and sharp with nice floral notes. Very well balanced. We loved it immediately.

By the end of the meal it had gone flat. The crispness and brightness was gone, replaced by a general light fruit, with an increasingly bitter metallic finish. I left about half of my last glass on the table. Based on the initial taste, I would have ranked this very good, verging toward excellent, but it fell apart so badly I can't rank it any higher than good (82-84). Frankly, disappointing and a waste of money.

May 10, 2012 - This is the second time trying this wine in a tasting environment. This time it was not nearly explosive and no where near the 90 point glass ceiling. The nose was once again super expressive and fruity. The first time in March 2011, the barrel fermentation and lees treatment brought a soft, almost complex wine. This time, the wine seems a little ordinary, and maybe shop worn. This may be an example of why we should drink there fruit forward white wines early. Still credible, but to my palate a little on the bitter side. We normally love Verdejo for it's fruity character, refined mouth feel, and solid finish. I think this wine may be off, or corked. Sorry.

April 15, 2012 - Bright tropical fruit with a bit of minerality. The acid has dropped off a little since I last had this, causing it to feel a little fat on the palate. A good paring with lobster ravioli.
