November 23, 2019 - Purchased 2 bottles recently. I was intrigued by the connection to St. Clement Paras Vineyard and the small production (200 cases). First bottle was disappointing but had some interesting concentrated fruit. I took more care with the second bottle. Decanted for 2 hours. The nose is juicy and warm but somewhat heavy with alcohol. The taste is a nice combination of concentrated current and blackberry compote accented by raisins. The oak was barely present but the alcohol kicked hard. Checking the bottle - I confirmed 14.8% alcohol. I would bet this bottle is higher. While this is not my style I can appreciate the quality. I an hoping that St. Clement has moderated the style a bit
