November 24, 2016 - Past it's peak but still enjoyable with cherries and raspberries in the nose and flavor though more black cherry in the flavor. Medium length finish.

January 5, 2010 - beautiful work from the guys who know how to make a balanced well constructed wine.
actually like the other vineyards a touch better, but that is personal preference.

February 15, 2008 - Decanted 1hr. Strong, powdery nose of red cherries and underbrush. Candied and very ripe flavors of red cherries, raspberry, clove and stems that turn tannic and tart at times. Full and dense on the attack but flattens out towards the back of the palate leading to a medium length finish with a touch of heat. Significant sediment observed in both the glass and the decanter. Hopefully, cellar time will turn this into a more nuanced PN.

January 28, 2008 - Hot, unbalanced. Long on tart acid, and long on tannin, both of which intrude on the finish. Short on fruit and nose. Not good.

October 11, 2006 - Delicious. Bigger and more complex version of, say, Arlaud "clos de la roche". No heat despitre 15.1% alc. Nose of clove/cinnamon, indian spices, raspberry, cherry, some dark chocolate and tinge of mineral/chalk and barnyard/mushroom. Medium bodied with flavors of cherries, raspberries, and various spices and tinge of earth. Bravo. While I like the BC Melville better, this one's wonderful too.
