May 2, 2024 - Really drinking wonderfully well now. Tinged with brown. A point. It has suddenly matured into something juicy, round and tertiary flavoured. If you have some in storage I would start drinking it - you are in for a treat.
January 31, 2024 - Fourth of my 4 bottles. Crimson with an orange tinge at the edges. Decanted for sediment into an old wine decanter, but rather muted when first opened. With a little bit of air, a wonderful perfume of roses, tar, mineral, and cherries. On the palate, there is still a bit of tannic grip. Great length. Very attractive savoury quality to this wine. Beautiful expression of Barolo.
September 22, 2023 - Had this without decanting and it was better for it I think. It brought out its wild qualities! Really fabulous Barolo. Mine needed a couple of months resting after delivery to show its best. Has got some real bite to it and should last well.
September 11, 2023 - Classic straight down the middle Barolo made in a traditional style. Orange peel, tar, soy sauce and dried rose petal. A ton of tertiary enjoyment already. Sturdy tannins.
April 9, 2023 - This is great juice. Mature barolo, remains fresh and with fruit. But tannins resolved and just lovely. Deink now-3yrs if you like some fruit left

This needs time in the decanter. But once it gets air it blossoms. Complex cherry, oak.

Beautiful Nebbiolo cherry nose
This is a young beast. Still a little sharp on the tannin and no secondary flavor.
Good structure and this big wine has the potential to improve from here

August 23, 2021 - Aroma of menthol and sweet berries with a hint of tar. On the palate was crisp raspberry fruit, not overfly ripe but just right. Still has some gripping tannins but very balanced.
