December 24, 2023 - Transparentes Ziegelrot, breite Randaufhellung, orangefarbene Reflexe.

March 18, 2023 - Rich bouquet of ripe berries, liquor, flowers, tar, crushed stones. Full, lush palate, with sweet berries, cherries, salty elements, minerals, quite some grip and tannic bite yet nicely embedded and integrated into the other elements, leading to an incredibly long finish of sweet, salty, spicy and mineral elements. Hedonistic vintage can be felt but very structured, incredibly well done. It is very Serralunga compared to the Rocche and Brunate crus. Give it 2-3 hours of decant. Even better on second night.

November 11, 2022 - This was absolutely fantastic right now. So I need a 15 year Barolo program!

October 2, 2022 - Tightly wound, even with 4 hours of air. Very refined and elegant fruit, just not all that expressive yet as the fruit is a bit overpowered by the structure still at this stage. Would love to try this again in 10 years, the bones here are very good!

June 11, 2022 - Bouquet slightly masked by a wall of rich berries and mint with minerals and floral elements behind. Incredibly smooth palate, rich, brown sugar, berries immediately being taken over by a fresh, spicy, grippy mid-palate leading to an incredibly long finish, minerals and spices tingling for quite a while. It is a bit less refined and smooth than the Rocche, which makes it a bit more interesting. One can clearly feel the heat of the vintage which however was perfectly handled, leading to an exceptional wine. Better on second night, starting to be in a great window, likely lasting for a long time.
