February 25, 2023 - Rhone-like, savory and smoky. Some herbs and grilled meats. The fruit seemed like it might be drying out, but there were a lot of layers of secondary flavors to enjoy.

February 1, 2021 - Pop and pour, drank 2 glasses over 2 hours. Quite simply, this wine is uninteresting. I've found Bedrock reds to be too big and sweet (jammy) in their youth, and I've been holding the ones I bought to see how they age. I hope this one is in a dead spot, or maybe the cellartracker average is correct that this bottle is past peak. It seems faded, there's a bit of red fruit, a touch of alcohol, that's it. Dull.

May 5, 2018 - PnD let air for 2hrs. Dense opaque purple from core to vermillion rim. Funky cheesy blackberry herbs soy sauce and beef jerky on the nose. Medium weight with ripe slightly grippy tannins. Ripe and racy with blackberry balsamic herbs soy sauce on the palate. Funky fun and very interesting.

September 12, 2017 - This needs some air or a 90 minute slow ox. What emerges is a wine that is both light on its feet but complex. Dark and deep fruit (mainly purple and black) with smoke and spice. Finish tastes perfumed with some vanilla. Lovely wine.

May 6, 2017 - Needs a short hour or so decant. Cool climate Syrah, dark, chewy, leather, licorice, purple and black fruits. Drink now.

October 4, 2015 - A very nice syrah that appears to be at it's prime and very drinkable. Unfortunately it followed a 2005 Saxum James Berry which was awesome.

September 27, 2015 - and the rest of the story (Clos des Papes, Kapcsandy, Bevan, etc) (Around home): Nice Syrah. Cool climate. The nose has black raspberries, black pepper and slight roasted meats. On the palate. A nice complexity. Juicy acidity. Purple fruits. Good finish. Very enjoyable and drinkable.

July 30, 2015 - Really nice. Drank right after Venturi and was very accessible. Only got better over course of an hour.

April 11, 2015 - Liked this better than the base T&S bottling (which I would not have anticipated at release)... Has really come together with time.

Black, smoky, beautiful dry fruit. Give it some air, or a couple more years... But very nice now
