September 22, 2022 - Surprisingly weighty for a GSM. Very nice. Very easy to drink.

November 4, 2021 - Seriously good, still deep colour for 12 years of age, pepper, chocolate, black fruits, tobacco and hint of mint. Silky luscious fruit and tannins. Very good at peak. What a shame it is my last bottle.

September 18, 2021 - An absolute beauty, heaps of fruit in display both on the nose and palate, just a pleasure to drink from first to lady. Fruit, raspberry, light leather, strawberry, dark berries (black), fine tannins, rich, medium to long finish.

August 8, 2019 - A very elegant GSM and showing extremely well at 10 years of age. Lots of dark berry fruit, still holding decent tannins, and showing some of that peppery Shiraz/Syrah. Well balanced. Cellared well this still has a few more years. Could easily put this in the Rhone tasting blind.

June 12, 2019 - This bottle tasted a bit tired compared to my previous experiences with this wine. Fruit has faded quite a bit and it has lost some of its colour. I would say past its peak but still OK. Would agree with the 2019 drinking window. When I bought the wine the drinking window was out to 2022. Drink up.
