December 11, 2022 - Active cellared since direct purchase. Decanted for a TON of sediment. Really nice, lovely savory qualities you see in some cooler climate Syrah

September 26, 2022 - We don’t not drink much CA Syrah anymore, and this was a nice change of pace. Richer and bigger than what we tend to drink now, this also has plenty of acidity to keep it lively. Some nice olive accents, too. We both enjoyed it.

September 30, 2021 - Popped and poured. Had some sediment, as expected. The fruit came out after open 30 minutes.

May 23, 2019 - A beautiful fragrant bottle (rose, violet, licorice). I took no formal notes, but this continued to open up during the course of 3 days. This has a good 5-8 (or more) years to go before REALLY hitting it on all cylinders, but there is no reason not to enjoy these now.

March 4, 2018 - This was sensational. Have had it in the cellar for years, and it is drinking perfectly now. Love cofermented Syrah/Viognier, when they are done right, and this was done PERFECTLY. Smooth, plush tannins. Great spice. Nice fruit. Lots of complexity and layers of flavor. Bedrock never disappoints. We decanted for sediment. It does not need more air at this point in its life, so I wouldn't bother with a lengthy aeration, just enjoy the subtle evolution in the glass.
