December 16, 2023 - Not raining here but in the key I enjoy this wine is singing. Medium- aged (some raisin here) fruit, smoke and savory qualities in this btl that I purchased on initial release. I always looked to Calera entry levels as a pretty sure thing for good QPR and this makes the grade. Nicely spicy on the med+ long tasty finish. My last bottle. 🙁

November 17, 2017 - Great balanced Pinot. Somewhere between CA, Burgundy, and Oregon. Red fruits. Good acidity, soft tannins. Really drinking great.

September 25, 2016 - Pretty, clear ruby color. Flowery red cherries and eucalyptus on a delightful nose. Good balance of luscious fruit and acids on the palate. Still drinking well, but time to drink up. Good QPR at $21.

August 7, 2016 - Drank with the usual cedar plank salmon. $20 pinot and farm raised Costco salmon; you couldn't tell the difference between this and a $50 pinot and wild fresh king salmon. You don't need Whole Foods and single vineyards to have a great evening these days. Ain't America great!!

August 7, 2016 - Good value and solid wine. Showing some raisin/port on the finish now, but hard to knock it for the price.
