December 29, 2014 - Dark garnet almost opaque nose had floral overtones with cherry predominating. Taste had similar profile with a medium long finish. There are better $20.00 wines

December 22, 2014 - A decent wine if you need a strong, over the top fruit forward wine. Not a lot going on beyond heavy ripe fruits and muddled berries. Maybe a little oak and vanilla, but not much. This wine isn't well balanced and lives up to its name. With that said, I'd pay in the low teens for it. It's pleasant to drink and goes down easily.

February 6, 2014 - Chewy, simple, lots of tannins.

December 10, 2013 - Very nice Australian shiraz blend. This is a big wine but well balanced. It has been over a year since I last tried this wine and the extra bottle time polished any roughness. At $16 this wine has a great QPR

May 24, 2013 - Very satisfying mostly Shiraz blend. Strong and stood up to overly-spiced carne adovada (New Mexican dish). Better than medium finish, but strong cherry and other fruit with lots of earthy/woody tastes. What is amazing is that even at 15% alc, it still had a lot of finesse and would have been a great sipping red, or with tapas. Highly recommend as it is under $20. Agree that the blend gives it more texture and structure than a pure 100% Shiraz.
