December 20, 2014 - Full bodied Zin that we enjoyed during a somber evening. A guilty pleasure full of dark berries and spice notes. Not balanced but tasty nonetheless.
December 15, 2013 - Good. Disappointed with this -- this used to be my absolute favorite Zinfandel. I think this may be past it's prime? Aeration helped a little; if I would have decanted it would probably have helped a lot. Mid purple color with slow, thick legs. Smells like a port (syrupy scents). Some cherry flavors, but not much else.

June 20, 2013 - Deep rich color. Nice nose. Fruit forward Full bodied. Very good value

October 20, 2012 - The Zin is consistently a favorite with guests, both novice and seasoned. Deep and fruity with lots of interesting complexity. Great by itself, better with food.
June 16, 2012 - Jammy fruity nose shows strawberries, nectarines and plums with a hint of earth. Very fruity on tha palate, red berries with a mild mossy finish.
June 16, 2012 - Lots of rich black fruit on the nose - blackberry, black cherry, and black currant, along with some earth and pepper. Earthy on the palate, with pepper upfront, followed by black fruit on the finish.
June 14, 2012 - smooth. A great value.
October 29, 2011 - Full bodied wine, lots of dark fruits. Very tasty.
