March 9, 2011 - Opaque crimson color; smells of tar, licorice, dark fruits. Creamy texture with a nice bite on the initial attack, well rounded, lots of fruit and some tannin that is well integrated. Slight bit of heat on the finish but nothing too overwhelming. Very nice wine.
