Community Tasting Notes 2

May 31, 2019 - I held it too long, way past its window. Fruit is gone, a pleasant light mouthfeel that turned a bid acid in the finish. Very musky and woody, dead rose notes in the nose. Almost good, if it had some more complexity or slight fruit left in the tea-like finish.

April 1, 2012 - From memory. Clear strawberry. Nose of cool, almost minty cut red berries and cherries. The palate is bright, a little puckering vinous red fruit and mineral, wild only as in fresh. The finish matches with a bit of savory, and is quite long for poulsard. Really delicious and a fine match for duck confit and wild mushroom risotto.
