April 13, 2024 - Drinking SUPERBLY right now. If you got one, and have not tried it in a while, make for a nice meal and open it up. Letting it breath 30 minutes first won't hurt. This is just a great joy to drink.

January 4, 2020 - This was the surprise of the evening and for many the red WOTN. An intense bouquet of dark fruit (cassis, blackberries), herbs and some tobacco. The tannin structure is very fine and the wine did not seem tired or unbalanced even with the rather high alcohol of 16,5%. Hard or almost impossible to get in Europe.

July 26, 2019 - This continues to be one of my favorite Washington cabs year in year out. The length and balance is amazing. Tingles my mouth for several minutes.

12/30/2011 (link) **** points(Woodward Canyon Winery Old Vines Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley) Medium ruby. Aromas of dark toast, black cherry, cedar, and light herbal notes. Tart and puckering on the palate with rich fruit flavors and chalky tannins. Persists on the finish. Alcohol shows through at times. 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot. Champoux, Sagemoor, and Woodward Canyon Estate vineyards. 16.5% alcohol. 505 cases produced.
