  May 19, 2014 - Deep, intense yellow color showing some signs of age. Somewhat restrained but very complex nose, showing nuanced aromas of honey, white flowers, nectarine, some red apple and hints of petrol. Quite full-bodied and medium-sweet on the palate with rich flavors of apple jam, honey, honeydew melon, some apricot jam and hints of very ripe citrus. The acidity feels moderate, giving the wine some sense of brightness, but not really making the wine sharp and light on its feet. The finish is really long, somewhat sweet and delicious with complex, almost dessert-wine like with its flavors of honey, wax, sweet lemon marmalade notes, some stony minerality and hints of spicy developed notes.
  
  A wonderful, rich and complex Spätlese Riesling that is starting to show some aged complexity, but is still going uphill. Lovely concentration, body and balance - even though the acidity could be a bit higher in relation to the residual sugar, the wine feels fresh and structured enough to be immensely pleasurable. Definitely a treat just on its own. Well worth the 9,30€ for a 12 cl glass.

  January 26, 2012 - A bit reserved on the nose with citrus zest, appley fruit and some rubbery smoke.
  Pretty sweet and refreshing - slightly steely - palate fulled with yellow fruit, peach, orange, honey and slight waffle. Good length.
  Young but delicious.
