April 15, 2012 - Elegant, lovely Piedmont white. Nose is softly floral (agreed with other reviewers on the jasmine), lemony and flinty. Very lean palate, dominated by acidity and mineral notes, with a little bit of citrus fruit up front. Finishes dry, with only a little lingering tartness. Very refreshing and enjoyable.
March 12, 2012 - From this maker of world famous Carema (if not it should be) this bright yellow wine is yeasty, bready, with floral undertones upfront. On the palate its light, bright acidity, clean. Lacks mouth feel or any lengthy finish. This would pair nicely with certain cheeses and other milk-fat related dishes. Nice.
October 28, 2011 - dusty chalk-covered lemons, I feel like I'm in the piedmont foothills, I love it!
September 17, 2011 - Color: straw/hay, little bit of neon, translucent
Nose: Spring wildflowers, lemon, wet rocks, under-ripe peach, chamomile tea, ammonia/cat pee
Palate: Fat and silky mouthfeel with razor sharp, bright acidity. High minerality, with hints of spruce, juniper, and lemon peel. Strong finish dominated by excellent acidity.
August 15, 2011 - nice wine, apples, rocks, and lemon on the nose. Very acidic. Mouthfeel: felt heavy/thick. Taste: Lemon/peaches. More minerals/acid than fruit. Went really well w/ Skate w/ brown butter sauce . . . it tasted like a CA Chard w/the fish.
June 22, 2011 - different reaction from others: spritzy and a bit bitter. maybe flawed, and probably deserving of a second chance, since it is obviously well-made.
April 21, 2011 - I would echo the prior note--there really is jasmine in the nose of this wine, and very appealing it is (I couldn't actually place the smell until I saw it mentioned here but then it clicked). Though subtle it is quite noticeable. Crisp, citrussy, and dry on the palate, with perhaps a touch of the florality the aromas promised. 12.5% alc. (bravo!). Very nice--a definite rebuy.
April 17, 2011 - Very, very pretty aromatics. Floral, even some jasmine in there. Light bodied, Light fruits and minerals. Quite good.
