June 15, 2019 - Amazing wine, full at its peak, tannins dissolved. Warm cherries and chocolate mixed with cuban tobacco leaves and full on cassis. Full creamy taste of warm red forest fruits. Velvety, smooth and sexy. Stunning.

June 8, 2019 - Drank at Born and Raised at the end of the first day of the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer. This wine take me to the slightly wilder side of St. Julien. Deep dark colour suggest some age but not maturity. The nose freely gives up dark red fruit but then adds darker side, prunes, black olives and earthy notes. The palate shows a great balance between the dark fruit and acidity. Drinking beautifully now but no need to rush.

    January 21, 2019 - (one hour decant)
Dark, significant bricking but with still a dark black cherry center.
Ripe plum, black cherries, balsamic drizzled ripe strawberry and cedar on the nose.
Beautiful ripe fruit on the palate (plum and aged cherry) with sweet balsamic. Bright acidity. Long finish with characteristic orange rind. Wine is at full maturity. My last of a six-pack and the finale showed best but likely peaked. Drink now.

December 22, 2018 - Consistent with Vinino rating. Super Tuscan with dark plum, blackberry, kinda smoky, strong, filling long finish. But more!
