June 26, 2015 - Drinking nicely, with toasty vanilla and chocolate to start. A rich, silky mouthfeel with dark fruit, mocha and light spice. Soft, fine tannin and a nicely persistent finish.

October 9, 2013 - Toasty vanilla and red fruits are very welcoming on the nose. Dark and dense on the body, yet light on its feet with a nice balance of red raspberry, spice, fine tannins, and acid. Finishes with good length and present fine tannins. Enjoyable, and drinking well now.

February 3, 2012 - The wines of Sleight of Hand & Va Piano with Trey Busch and Justin Wylie (Peter Pratt's Inn): This was a dark wine, a wonderful nose, hints of vanilla bean, lush with great depth of red fruits, hints of red raspberry, currant, shoe leather, very young and in need of some long cellaring.
