  August 6, 2015 - From memory. Light 14k gold. Seriously sulfuric nose on opening, still noticeable a few hours later. The palate is citric and white pommes, appropriately tart, but distinctly non-oxidized. The overall effect is akin to a weighty Chablis, but rather less elegant. Personally I miss the savory notes I prefer with savagnin.

  January 29, 2013 - We had this wine along side the Puffeney Arbois, and it surprised me as much as thinking this one was not done 'sous-voile', since it did not have much of the nuts and other classical oxydative notes.
  Pale yellow colour, quite troubled, white flower notes, sour apple, it had more in common with natural Chenin blanc from Loire than Jura I felt. I liked it, but did not match my expectations and felt short drinking alongside the Puffeney while eating Poulet au vin jaune ( and morels of course!).

  December 16, 2012 - Firm. Not overtly oxidixed. But somewhat steely. Savory umami, mushrooms and green apples. Apertif with post hannukah appetizers i.e. mousse and cheese etc. the structure was so solid, agebility is indefinate.
