March 20, 2012 - Not much too it. The fruit is light and feint in a light-bodied dry rose. Some strawberries and lime. Most foods will overwhelm it. Bread, cheese or nothing. For what it is, it's fine.

December 3, 2011 - Made from primarily Syrah with other Rhone varieties completing the blend. Unexpected soil and earth on the nose. Slight spritz with crunchy hard acids. Not much in the way of fruit expression though. Do not serve without food.

November 25, 2011 - Dry and well-balanced, mostly small fruits with a very light herbal note. Light enough to be refreshing, bold enough to hold its own against many foods, hits just the right medium point. Good pink color tone. Overall excellent.

September 7, 2011 - Go Nimes! Much better after 24 hr vacu-vind in the fridge. Better balance of fruit, spice, wet steel, some herb-mineral, and yes, ripe hard cheese, fading. I would recommend consumption after 30-60 min air time at room temp, or 24 hrs vacuumed in the fridge.

September 7, 2011 - Hearty Nimes Rose best out of the bottle at 65 deg F soon after opening. Tested also at 55 deg F, vacu-vind 12 hrs, note below. Color leans toward red berry. Nose of light spicy red berry and perhaps melon. Attacks balanced and steady with fruit (light watermelon, perhaps red berry, and a hint of bubblegum or banana) with a slight glycerin coat and some spice and mineral (not much). Finishes slightly bitter with fading fruit and spice. Body medium, acid medium. Good QPR at USD12. Probably would buy again.

August 18, 2011 - Color pink salmon. Nose started out s little funky but then resolved to jolly rancher watermelon and green apple. on the palate this is light and refreshing and buoyed by acid. Finishes a little strident, but clean and good. I think this is a good value
