  December 16, 2012 - Not sure where I got this. It's a Crushpad product. I was quite pleasantly surprised. Well balanced, full mouth feel with a touch of tannin. Nice long finish.

  August 6, 2011 - Another shout out to PC. This monster is of his own making. The story goes like this. PC to CW (celebrated wine maker), "Here, taste this." CW, "F'n amazing". PC, "This is 1947 Cheval Blanc. I want you to make a wine like this. Several tons of To Kalon grapes and a specially sourced, light toasted barrel later...we have perfection. This wine is all things to all people. REading the reviews of the 1947 Cheval, I can't but think that this wine was the product of a stuck fermentation 60 years later. Velvety, smooth. Harkening to port. Young in color but the fruit, lavender, and cigar box are so in harmony right now. And it aches to know this will get better with time. Watch out for this one. WOTN vs. Sloan, Hourglass, and other great but highly overrated california cabs.
