February 20, 2019 - Light fresh red fruit, good acid, and medium finish. Great with chicken en croute with sage and gruyere.

February 27, 2018 - Very light and crisp, soft red raspberry fruit, medium to short finish, good acid, nice balance. Terrific with roast chicken and homemade apple sauce.

December 27, 2017 - I Coravined a taste of this wine and thought it needed another couple of years. But Sue thought it was terrific now, so out came the opener. And it *did* drink better with some air. Notes of cherry, raspberry, earth and Asian spices. A terrific pairing with the roast lamb with garlic. I guess an Adelsheim wine is a holiday season tradition: and I would never mess with tradition. (We had the 2006 vintage for Christmas 3 years ago). With Sue, Jen and Natasha in Springfield, VA -- with Christmas leftovers.

November 13, 2017 - May be a little past it’s prime - a ring of brown around the edge with a loss of the fruit and brightness
