April 16, 2018 - Last tasted 4 years ago. Today a similar high score but everything in the bottle understandably has toned down. This is a very light wine...and that's good! Harmonious red fruit, touch of muted tang and a bit of baking spices. Lovely. Paired with grilled and then roasted marinated duck breast.

April 1, 2018 - Friends brought this to Easter Dinner (smoked ham) on 4/1/18. It had a deep, rich bouquet of smoke, black cherry, raspberry, cola and baking spice aromas. The palate was rich, ripe and layered with flavors that followed the nose. 91+

June 30, 2016 - Tart cherries and minerals on nose. Light on its feet, with nice red raspberries, roses, hints of spice. Solid acidity on earthy finish. Great Oregon food wine.

August 29, 2015 - A little reticent at first, but has a nice expressive nose of pinot funk/meat and a little iron. Palate is on the acidic/narrow side initially, but spans out after 3-4hrs hour with a nice core of red fruits and prominent forest floor/underbrush. Moderate finish, chewy, with strong mineral overtones. Still seems to be in a slightly awkward adolescent phase, but a strong wine.

March 21, 2015 - Drank from a magnum. The nose took a while to develop, but when it did - very good. We decanted for a couple of hours and the initial taste from the bottle was excellent. We loved the taste on the palate. Very good.
