January 23, 2024 - At a very good place right now no need to wait, very good BDM.

October 19, 2023 - Wow. Light sediment, decanted. Drinkable almost immediately but much better after an hour, and continued to improve over the next three.

August 1, 2023 - Would you give a wine 100 pts. if its finish full of baking spices, black coffee, red cherry, strawberry, orange, milk chocolate lasted about 2 minutes? How about the same flavors from beginning to the end? Plus black cherry, blackberry, plum, raisins. Perfect integration of lively acidity and ripe, but still grippy tannins ( especially in finish).
16 old wines has a gooda a few years ahead. Smell has typical aromas for old wine like prune, musty cellar, burnt sugar (super), tobacco, smoke. But also underbrush(nice), red cherry, herbs and exotic spices.
Just for a record - the wine have garnet color and I had older wines than this, that were in full red.
Nothing important, when the taste is so delicious
The third glass and delicious, sweet, ripe red cherry is the winner.
    What a wine!

December 31, 2022 - 12 of us drank our 3L bottle on New Year’s Eve at Peking Duck House in NYC along with other brunello, etc. I was expecting this to be more evolved and possibly showing the heat of the vintage and was pleasantly surprised when it came out of the bottle so dark in color. Full of structure, dark fruit, a little spice and tar, touch of tannin and medium finish, it was a great bottle that over-delivered. Great way to ring in the new year…

November 19, 2022 - Belle robe bourgogne ambrée. Nez charmeur. Vin avec beaucoup corps malgré ses 15 ans. Sur la cerise, sang, animal et boisé. Complexe, corsé, demande à être décanté, encore de belle année devant lui.
