May 6, 2015 - Surprisingly full and lush. Still with acidity to back it up, and not showing the high alcohol in any bad way. A bit of baked apple, that I think comes from extra ripe grapes, not oxidation. Wish I had a case of this.

May 20, 2014 - Very deep straw yellow color. Shows some signs of oxidation; drinks like an older vintage. Not a ton of acid here--very opulent, high alcohol for a savennieres. I don't see the need to age this any longer, but it'd probably handle it fine. Round, almost voluptuous, with good balance. Drank it with a meal of chinese food; some spicy, some not, and it fared excellently--even against szechuan peppercorn-laden food. Great food pair.

September 30, 2013 - The nose suggests a sweet wine with lots of tree and pit fruit, honey, and very pronounced floral notes. The mouth carries all this but adds bracing minerality and acidity. A unique experience! What a treat.
