May 21, 2016 - A classy and well-aged Cabernet that offers complexity without excess. Dark, almost cloudy, burgundy in color; medium in body; nose of charcoal and blackberry. Tastes of black cherry, black olive, cedar, and soy sauce, with integrated - albeit mouth-coating - tannins on the finish. 14.2% alcohol. Drink in next year or two.
April 15, 2013 - Fruit forward. Lots of black fruit on attack and mid palate. Good color and nice meniscus. Drinking well now with a good hour plus of decanting.
January 28, 2013 - PnP. Deep Ruby/Purple color. Slow legs. Showing some light sediment. Tar, Cedar, Soy Sauce, Cherry and Blackberry nose. Cherry, Cedar, Soy Sauce and Blackberry palate. Excellent slightly acidic balance. Soft Suede texture. Medium/Long finish. 14.2% ABV.
July 6, 2012 - Black fruit and blackberry nose. Fruit forward palate saw nice vanilla and pepper combined with black fruit and blackberry. Nice long finish. Firm tannins, nice structure and balance. A classic Oakville Cab.
