January 31, 2024 - Bottle number three tonight, last bottle, thank God was not corked like the other two. Decanted and paired with Bolognese over one hour. Sour cherries, licorice, Tanic, definitely a food wine rather than a sipper. Last glass after an hour of aeration was expectedly a little softer, easier to drink. if you have any left, give it an hour or two of air before you drink it.

June 18, 2023 - Medium garnett with Medium plus intensity, developed aromas of cinnamon, spiced, rose, petals, sour, burnt cherries, pomegranate, raspberry, cigar box, leather, mushroom, and balsamic. This wine has high tannins and his full body with high alcohol and medium plus acidity. This wine has medium plus intensity developed flavors of Spiced rose petals. Sour burnt cherries, nutmeg, dark, chocolate, tobacco, leather, and mushrooms. This wine has a medium plus finish it is a very good wine. This wine has very good balance between the fruit and the secondary and tertiary flavors in aromas. Drink this wine between now and 2030.

September 26, 2022 - At first we feared this bottle was corked, as the nose showed a funky wet cardboard odor, and it tasted overly bitter. This blew off though, and at the 4 hour mark it opened into a lovely wine. At this point, the nose showcased notes of earth, graphite, red fruits (i.e. cherry), a hint of anise, rosemary, and eventually chocolate. Medium-full bodied, and expressive of the same flavors in the mouth. Weird. But good now if given enough air to get the best of it (at least based on our experience).
