August 22, 2015 - Really a gorgeous, lifted nose of rose/rosehip, cherry, and a kind of stemminess (?). On the palate, silky and pinot-like, graceful, long. Great stuff.

May 13, 2015 - I loved this wine. Had at a restaurant. The nose is fantastically intriguing; earthy, floral, red berry fruit, and a fresh stemmy note. The palate is absolutely great; very elegant and almost delicate seeming, yet packs lots of flavor in with fresh cranberry and tart raspberry along with lovely violet notes. The finish is superb. Thoroughly enjoyable, great with food. Not likely getting any better at this point so probably would drink.

February 16, 2015 - February Rotating Wine Dinner (Mon Ami Gabi - Chicago, IL): This was open for 2 hours before dinner. I've never been overly impressed by Foillard's 2008 Fleurie. It's always come across very simplistic and one-noted. This was more of the same, to me; a bit shrill with basically a dark cherry note and not much else.

October 31, 2014 - Light, stewed berries. Delicious and easy to drink. Medium finish.
