January 4, 2015 - On the nose it carries dark fruits, some tobacco and a bit of alcohol aromatics; not unexpected given its 14.5%. A very. very dark garnet red that hints at its depth. Carries through on the palate with a mouth filling full bodied fruit taste that is long lasting. The tannin is in good balance so it should last several years in the cellar. Accented the shrimp scampi and pasta with pesto that it was served with. Would consider for repurchase.

August 8, 2014 - Deep, dark & rich. A hedonistic expression. A good pairing with my over cooked duck... Loads of dark chocolate in the aromatics.

November 24, 2013 - Deep purple colour. Blackberry, black cherry, some minerality and oak on the nose. Sweet entry. Fairly modern style. Black fruits. Good concentration and mid palate depth, rounded tannins. Not very complex, but in balance. Good with meat dishes. Drinking well now but could be cellared for a few years.
