July 16, 2017 - Second day notes. Lite color, but that doesn't matter at all. Full throttle Grenache from California. Nose of plum, cherry, cedar and raisins. Medium bodied, with ample acidity and smooth tannins. Tastes of red berries, cherry, raspberry, and strawberry. Decent finish, leaves some juicy acidity on the palate.

June 21, 2016 - Plum hue. Light cherry/raspberry nose, medium bodied. Not as deep/structured/enjoyable as previous vintages. Smoky, spice, white pepper. Tasted better the second day.

January 13, 2016 - Very light in color. Lots of spice on the nose and on the mid-palate. The finish just coats your mouth and is pretty long. This wine is still pretty young and probably has at least another 3-5 years before it is fully matured.

January 2, 2016 - Plum hue. Light cherry/raspberry nose, medium bodied. Not as deep/structured/enjoyable as previous vintages. Drank over several days and didn't hold up.

July 10, 2015 - Decanted for about 30 minutes then followed for two hours. Color is lighter than I might expect, especially for a TRB wine. The flavor profile is smooth pepper with red berry fruit that has a raspberry component to it. It carries its 15.7% ABV very well - better than it did in its youth. There is a striking purity of flavor to this wine. The flavor is still very primary but quite enjoyable with no rough edges. Goes down easy. Finish is moderate. Let the rest wait for a while and see how they develop.
