August 5, 2017 - Very good wine. It is the first time I drank a bottle with some age. It went well with a chocolate and berries desert but lacked a little of power and fruit. In my view it should be drunk earlier.
February 16, 2014 - tannic, berries, plum, red fruits, meat. Ok, but not great... maybe just too young.

Le résultat ne fut pas aussi spectaculaire qu'avec le Domaine de la Rectorie de la maison Parcé et Frères ... Je maintiens que ce vin a une saveur de bleuets au nez cependant ...
May 7, 2013 - Made in reductive style, this VDN is full of lovely fruits, such as plum, raisin in addition to licorice, baking spice, vanilla, dark chocolate, cocoa powder and hint of yeasty note (has it been aged sur lie?) Less alcohol than port at 16.5%. Medium sweetness, medium plus finish, silky tannins, medium minus acidity. (Would be nice to have a bit more to give the wine some freshness.) Should pair well with dark chocolate or any chocolate-based dessert. Good price/quality ratio.
May 19, 2012 - PnP. Had with chocolate mouse and then sipped over a few hours. Liquified raspberry ganache. Absolutely delicious. Would buy again and again.

December 23, 2011 - Subtle fruity nose. Sweetish, rather light bodied, some raspberry fruit. Nicely balanced and pleasant in its own simplicity. An elegant digestif.
