February 8, 2019 - Plenty of life- I'm going to let my remaining bottles rest for another couple or years as a science experiment.

February 6, 2019 - Magnum. Even, light ruby. Blackberry and creosote. Light, crisp, and focused with more than enough flesh and herbal complexity to boot. Still could use more time, especially out of this larger format. Outstanding cru Beaujolais.

January 29, 2019 - Beautiful but in a way that makes you sad.

Soft red fruit that is showing only the slightest fatigue. That mint and eucalyptus I always associate with this wine. But after being open for about an hour there's this aroma of smoldering embers, which is incredibly appropriate.

So it's sad, but you smile too.

January 28, 2019 - Still drinking very well. I am a little surprised this one has held up so well. I feared it was tiring. However, I would still be a drinker, as I do not see this one improving from here.

January 28, 2019 - Opened immediately after a 2011 was found too bretty, this showed bountiful, though slightly subdued, fruit and floral notes. No, it did not demand this much aging, but it withstood it in fine form. Not bad for an N bottle.
