March 16, 2020 - Ruby. Herbal red fruit. Light to medium weight. Tremendous juxtaposition of sweet black cherry attack, and tart, fennel-laced, saline Gamay finish. No brett here, which is a big relief compared to other bottles. My last bottle of this, and it finished with a real flourish.

November 22, 2019 - Dark fruit, menthol, cherries, and violet notes on the nose. Great acidity with tart dark berries, sour cherries, and a hint of green notes on the palate. Nice finish. A lovely Beaujolais and quite a bit darker than Foillard’s Morgon wines.

August 10, 2019 - This bottle a little over the hill. So it goes.

July 27, 2019 - Big wine for a Bojo. Chunky. If tasted blind I would have guessed California. Still eminently drinkable, but better in it's youth. tannins become more noticeable with time. Somewhat hot on the finish. '09 was a great vintage, but "14 and '15 are better to drink now.

July 22, 2019 - Drank along 2009 Cote du Py and 3.14. A lot darker, with savory, dark berries, and cherry notes on the nose. Very interesting, with maybe a hint of VA. Good acidity (more than the Morgons), dark cherries, and berries on the palate. Long finish. So different compared to the Morgons, yet very good. However, it did decline a bit throughout the night compared to its peers.
