February 9, 2023 - Very pleased with how this has aged, was worried and keen to open earlier, glad I waited. Succulent pineapple and apricot hints. Still straw in colour, this could go a lot further….love it.

August 19, 2016 - No formal note, nothing outstanding about this expression of semillon but nothing wrong either. A daily drinker with the basic characteristics of the varietal represented.

June 21, 2015 - Interesting wine with nice tropical dominant fruit, easy to like, some smoke and minerals to complete. Has a great texture. Nothing complex or mind blowing, but worth to try.

February 23, 2015 - Pale lemon to straw yellow, almost greenish tint - brilliant and clear. Nose of waxy tropical fruits; pineapple, green apple. On the palate, moderate acidity - flavors of pineapple; a bit grassy and notes of beeswax. A bit toasty and smoky. A bit complex and complicated to describe, but nice. Finish lingers longer than the nose would suggest.

July 14, 2014 - Boy, it sure doesn't come across as a wine with only 12,0% abv, as there's nothing light or lean about this. After some initial aromas of drying (latex) paint, the nose turned to some ripe orchard fruits, quince, and minerals. Unique, in a good way. The body was closer to medium than light, and the fruit was nicely measured, even seemed concentrated as it warmed. Either way, it was interesting and delicious, and certainly had good purity and lively acids. This house is making some really nice juice these days. Should continue to get better over the next 12-15 years. recommended

    Served non-blind.
