  July 23, 2020 - Well, honestly not sure what to expect from this humble generic village from this occasional exasperating producer. To cut to the chase, it’s very civilized and pleasurable. The fruit from yesteryears has been effaced to an afterthought. The nose is in fact very mute. In the mouth , faint smoke, ethereal black fruit and distant vanilla with completely harmonized tannin made a most attractive experience. Surprisingly still, held up nicely on day 2! Nonetheless, no need to wait and drink up.

  November 26, 2011 - Very nice. Lots of fruit up front with a decent finish. A little tartness and sourness on the back end take this down a notch. Having said that, these elements would help it pair really well with certain foods (beef stew comes to mind). Excellent value for $20 CAD. Recommend!

  September 4, 2011 - Ripe without being over extracted or too fruity finding an equipoise between Burgundian elegance and new world hedonism. Great structure right now and should age well for a village wine.
