February 27, 2021 - QPR is really astonishing. Great wine. But drank it too early. Hold for sure if you have some bottles even though it is drinking very nicely at the moment. Silky and smooth on the palate, but still with lots of character. High alcohol but perfectly integrated.

August 17, 2018 - Astonishing QPR--which is why there's none available. Fresh fruit and much claret complexity, with a lush mouthfeel and a long finish, make this a classic for us budget-minded claret drinkers. Kudos to Derenoncourt, who consulted.

October 5, 2014 - Easy drinking and straight forward with lots of sweet plumb fruit and spice. Good finish that remains a little tannic.

July 15, 2014 - Summer 2014 Partying: Another ripe vintage winner that easily outperforms its price point with intense flavors and aromas of blackberry and a slightly citrusy finish. Nice tannins and textures; seems ready to drink although aging would also garner rewards.

May 19, 2014 - Better than expensive Crus Classé, this is a real gem.

October 25, 2013 - PNP. Color dark garnet. Nose all primary dark fruit. Swishing brings the tannin crashing on the palate overpowering the fruit a little. Sipping shows some tobacco lacing the fruit. Finish med length and framed w tannin. Needs a bit of time in bottle I think

July 21, 2013 - What a great little Bordeaux value wine this has turned out to be. Forward, round and open, with lots of chocolate, licorice, black cherry and coffee. The fruit is soft and polished. Drink this on the young side to get the most from this blend of 45% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon.
