November 3, 2023 - Grand Jury du Vin - Republic of Georgia; 11/1/2023-11/9/2023 (Republic of Georgia then stopover in Paris and Dijon): Wine 5 – Very ripe yet cool, cool black fruit, cassis, noticeable tannins, very ripe.

November 13, 2022 - Sweet Merlot fruit with a bit of vegetal Cabernet Franc meets slighty bitter cedar oak flavors, modern, rich, but not overextracted or alcoholic as some other right bank 2010s; a tasty Castillon wine, just not very complex. Good now, but will hold 5-8 years. - 90 points
