December 29, 2017 - This is a lovely example of aged Bordeaux. The bottle is in pristine condition, levels are perfect and cork is perfect too.
Initially the fruit is not apparent on first pour. I left it for 1 hour to find a lovely bouquet of ripe soft black fruit, tobacco, leather and hints of spice. The flavour profile lasts a good 30 secs. Medium bodied, good acidity and ripe tannins - all well integrated. Very tasty. -

April 20, 2015 - Some elegance to it, in terms of caramel notes and an immediate feel of depth. But the experience is too short lived and it ends up being something not too memorable.

February 8, 2014 - Some life left in these grapes, but drink now! Mushrooms, muted fruit, supple tannins, currant, but a bitter aftertaste. Should have drunk sooner, alas.

December 28, 2012 - Not too bad to start bet fell off a cliff later. I have to say this is not my favorite type of wine. Drink now, it will not get better.
