November 23, 2022 - Similar notes as 2020 - no evolution. Drink now, delicious.
November 11, 2020 - Soooo good! Pop n pour and it was singing right away. Blue and black fruit, soft mouthfeel, well integrated tannins, delicious.
June 13, 2020 - It’s definitely past its prime, but surprisingly good. Still a decent amount of oak on the nose and palate. Blackberry and plums with tannins. I’m not sure if it ever reached its lofty status, but it was a great value at the time.
November 8, 2019 - Don't recall detailed notes. Do recall it was good. I believe WS originally scored this 94pts back in the day when I paid more attention to such things. I don't think I'd go 94 at this point, but certainly 90-91.
January 19, 2018 - Coming together quite nicely. I gave it 88 pts. in 2013. Rich berries, soft edges, full bodied with toasty oak. Elegant.
January 17, 2018 - Very good ,Smooth and sweet. Very slight fading of fruit . Easy drinker. Drink now!
December 24, 2017 - Beautiful nose and complementary taste of blackberry and cranberry. Very nicely integrated balance of fruit, acid, oak, tannin and alcohol.
Long and explosive finish.
December 19, 2017 - Surprisingly fresh for 9 years old.Textbook WA cab, good acidity that stands up to fruit, oak is present but well integrated and muted. I would like to try this again in 5 years.
