  February 12, 2017 - Dark garnet/black cherry hue. Unremarkable cabernet. Definitely fruit forward, not overly complex, cherry vanilla ice cream.

  April 26, 2013 - Loved this berry packed wine. Great nose of dark berries, smooth and easy to drink. Spring Valley produced a nice wine here-- one people should give a try.

  January 30, 2012 - Very nice dark berry cab from Walla Walla. Albeit most preferred Frederick, Derby held its own. Enjoyed by 10+, nothing but favorable comments. Delicious cab worth putting in your cellar.

  April 9, 2011 - WA Tasting trip Day 2: Cayuse, Gramercy, Spring Valley, More Cayuse?? and Jim German; 4/9/2011-4/12/2011 (Walla Walla, WA): Nose of blackberry, cassis, mint, some black cherry as well.
  Palate of black berry, black cherry, spice, oak, tannin, some herb as well.
  Big right now and needs time.89-90
