May 26, 2021 - I'm the outlier on the rating but that's OK. This is not what a Left Bank Bordeaux should be. Very merlot dominated, hot with an ABV of 14.5%. If you want a St Emilion style wine, this is it. If you want Pessac - not so much.

May 18, 2021 - Nose: Blackberry, Cherry, Slate and smoke noted. Bit of gravel, cedar and herb notes coming. Palate: Gorgeous entry with cassiis, black cherry, gravel and cedar tones. Tannins are grippy mid-palate but ripe.

This aired beautifully and drank really well over several hours. Room to improve a bit, bu I recommend starting to drink these while the fruit is so enjoyable.

    April 10, 2021 - Fruitly, long finish.
    Perfectly at now.
    Open 2h before drinking.
Good wine for a second wine.
    Drink latest at 2023.

March 31, 2020 - Hard to believe its a second wine. This is as good as any Pape Clement Ive ever had. Lassis Graves from huge bouquet through a long, complex finish. All the grapes come into play. Structured is the operative term. The Cabernet is dominant but the secondary grapes, Petit Verdot? Malbec? help to provide the definition.
