April 27, 2024 - Great stage of maturity. Decanted 30 minutes or so and this wine was singing. Unbelievable QPR on this bottle. Drink now with air or hold for up to 10 years

February 20, 2024 - Ruddy red color, dark core. Pencil shavings and ripe dark fruit aromas. Nice palate presence with mouth coating tannins that are mostly resolved. Good balance of fruit and tannins and enough acidity to keep it moving along. Not really blowing my mind. Drank over three days, it didn't improve or decline.

February 16, 2024 - Our Friday night wine. Pop and poured. On the nose loads of terroir, earth along with loads of dark chocolate, red berries and tobacco. Feels mature, integrated and very masculine. Very left bank with cab sav dominating. Classic Bordeaux Left Bank nose. Ruby red colour. On the palette, everything feels right in place. Reminiscent of 2010 – balanced, finesse, structured and classic. Fresh with lots of interesting notes of terroir, red fruit and tobacco. The tannins are very mild. I had Château Glana a couple years ago and it also had similar 2010 characteristics. Of course, this has a lot of years left but probably in the early 20s in terms of life maturity.

Will let this one open up more before I take more sips but upon first impressions, it’s a nicely made enjoyable wine. Sum up in one word? Balanced. If you are seeking something along those lines, this will be one for you. I see the appeal from this producer.

January 6, 2024 - quite youthful appearance not really showing 13 years of aging.

nose of dark soil, gravel, soft bramble and black cherry. palate shows again these soft savoury dark fruits, leather & tobacco, some dust and indeed fine integrated tannines. The wine finishes medium long in pleasant manner.

A nice wine with good complexity and substance opening up nicely after a 30 min decant. Quite fond of the reward after 10 yrs of cellaring this.

December 24, 2023 - In terrific shape. Decanted for 90 minutes and was in fine condition. Fully mature yet plenty of life ahead. Tannins were fully resolved and all aspects of the wine were singing. I have always thought these 2010s were a step behind the excellent 2009 from this estate, yet now find myself wondering. Exceptional qpr.

December 19, 2023 - Still surprisingly backward this had firm tannins underscoring a delicious confection of soft black & red fruits, plums and leather. Complex and well-balanced from the mid-palate onwards this revealed delicious mocha on an excellent finish. I couldn’t help feeling that there was plenty more in the tank and this will continue to improve over coming years. CHP 90 pts

December 7, 2023 - This is totally in its drinking window, but lacks the beauty of 2009. That is a hard act to follow. In this bottle you find that sweet marriage of the perfect balance of fruit, wood, and terroir that are now working in harmony bringing you a cute and somewhat exotic experience when compared to traditional and austere single varietal wines. I always find a successful Bordeaux blend to reach a poetic point of being more of a potion than a wine. This one is there, but with the remaining fruit in the tank, this is as far as she can go. Very fun and cute. Drink
