December 17, 2021 - Drinking well now. Nice mix of primary and secondary flavors. Medium finish.

December 13, 2021 - Another good outing for this vintage/wine. Fruit still fairly dominant over any secondary/tertiary flavour sensations and with the tannins soft enough to suggest new world; one might ask is this the first signs of climate change on St.Estephe.

November 13, 2021 - Previous comments about dark fruits and espresso are pretty accurate. Sitting in the zone for enjoyable drinking. A short decant will help the nose and flavor profile to open up. Benefits some from pairing with food.

October 17, 2021 - What a pleasant surprise from a wine I feared may be past its best. Pnp and was presented with lots of primary fruits on both nose and palate. This wine is still fresh and dare I say it young. There are soft tannins but on this evidence the vintage is for the long haul

October 10, 2021 - No formal notes. Better at day five than at day one. Better on its own than with food. At day five: 89

October 6, 2021 - Popped and poured. Opaque black-ruby. Already showing well on the nose, with lovely aromas of cedar and mulberry. Pretty. Very open knit for a St. Estephe of only 11 years of age. Rich, full but easy, with some pretty cocoa on the finish. Pleasantly surprised for a wine of this modest price. Just a tad bitter on the finish, but sheesh, that is a quibble. 4-12-16-8: 90/100.

June 7, 2021 - Followed over 2 night2. More open and aromatic than expected on night one. More powerful and structured on night 2. Dark fruited, more blacks than blue, with some red fruit highlights. Espresso mixed in. Rather firm dry finish implying this could use some more time. Very enjoyable mid-tier bdx that's still young

June 7, 2021 - Kept since about 2013, the first years under condition 1, about the last three years under condition 2 (see my profile). Very dark ruby-purple color. Nice mature nose. In the taste good fruit, nice mature notes and a good acidity. Still the tannins were not fully resolved. Clearly more develloped than last time. Quite some complexity. Very nice. When kept the way I have, this wine can be drunk now and at least next two years. 88-89.
