September 26, 2020 - Preference in this price range is Bollinger. Likely the new release of this Roederer and it comes off sour/tart. Not much depth.

September 22, 2020 - These are all over the place. The Magnums are all beautiful in different ways. Whatever they do, they hit the mark. Zippy, acidic, with the lovely toastiness you would expect from a top notch Champagne. The finish satisfies...I could see magnums of this aging well for 5 years. Drink

August 24, 2020 - Ending August by the Sea; 8/22/2020-8/26/2020 (Alicante - España): At the right temperature and still being a young bottle, it worked quite well and refreshed the beginning of our lunch.
Aromas of sponge cake with lemon curd, nuts and slate mineral. On the palate it was a bit short but fresh and harmonious. Always a suitable choice in any time being a dry and oxidative sparkling lover.

August 23, 2020 - I'm not much of a champagne drinker, but the wife and I thought we'd give this a shot to celebrate the conclusion of a difficult week in preparation for our upcoming move.

Pale gold in color, its reasonably aromatic with a rich nose of golden delicious apples, citrus and toast. It has a gripping acidity, but this is softened somewhat by the creaminess afforded by the effervescence. The flavor profile consists of lemon, more of that golden delicoius apple and some peach along with more toast and a noticeable minerality. The finish is fairly long-lasting and dominated by citrus notes that eventually evolve into a faint peach...

Not the world's best champagne but certainly enjoyable. Cheers!

July 30, 2020 - I wrote a note a couple weeks back on this particular lot,2015 vintage, disgorged just recently in 2019, lot L047831B102780,that funky saline yellow fruit, nougat, the chalky sour finish,is so apparent now, invigorating this 2015 champagne, zesty apple/lime/orange peel, dang, I might be hooked...if you step back that's quite a vinous/mineral chardonnay/pinot blend.....again this is the 2015 base, run your lot numbers on website....

July 26, 2020 - Wonderfully yeast nose. Lemon sharpness offsets on palate. A very refined and complete champagne.

July 12, 2020 - Richer body. Not austere.
    Needed time to open up
    Riper fruits
Off dry. Perhaps a bit too much dosage
