April 27, 2019 - A gorgeous premier cru, and I imagine it can go on for many years. Fresh white flowers and well delineated orchard fruit (like white nectarines?), excellent cut, persistent finish. First rate.

February 15, 2019 - Wow! Acacia flowers, hazelnuts on the nose. Long length and beautifully balanced acidity. Wish I had more!

June 1, 2018 - Spectacular. Probably the best white burgundy I've had in the last year, this wine is at the absolute peak of its maturity. A strongly terroir-driven wine with focused minerality, stone fruit, richness without being phenolic or oaky. Wish I had more!

Burgundy-Report

(Boillot Jean Puligny-Montrachet Clos de la Mouchère) Medium lemon-yellow. A nose of baked bread and higher, more diffuse tones. The palate has lovely smooth acidity and a depth of soft but concentrated high-toned fruit. There's just a quick flash of something that shouts 'Puligny' in the mid palate, followed by a long savoury, slightly spicy - perhaps ginger - finish. As usual this is an excellent wine and it's certainly a 'buy', but to drink today I'd put Amoit's 'Vergers' a little ahead based on its fresh citrussy purity and joie-de-vivre.
