February 12, 2020 - Had marked this ‘Drink Now’ in the cellar, so popped it open when a friend swung by, we loved it! Drinking great, don’t think it’ll improve with more age. Don’t be scared of this 10+ year old Cali wine!

March 13, 2015 - Old school Cali grenache. Qupe is underrated winery.

December 31, 2014 - a very straightforward style of Grenache with nice tart fruits on the palate. nothing makes you say wow but a solidly made wine.

June 19, 2014 - Decanted 90 mins. ahead. Deep red-garnet with some brick. Nice nose of black pepper, plums, red berries. Very nice texture on the palate, as a light-medium body combines with dark colors and rich flavors. Finishes with lively grip and low tannins. A very very good Grenache, tart like Grenache should be. Could take some bottle age.

December 16, 2013 - Translucent garnet, aromas of red fruit and spice, hints of sage. On the palate, fairly dry but a hint of juicy red cherry, more herbal notes with spice and a touch of oak. Tannins are light and unobtrusive. Medium finish. A nice food-friendly Rhône-like experience.

February 27, 2013 - cherry cobbler in a glass, very drinkable. However, not the most complex exciting wine I've ever had.
